PTU RF Series — Rigid PUR & PIR Foam Systems
PTU supplies formulated polyurethane chemical systems used by manufacturers to produce rigid foam blocks for subsequent conversion into insulation products.
Typically produced in large moulds, the foam is allowed to free-rise and cure before the blocks are cut into sheets, boards or pipe sections for applications such as refrigerated transport panels and other thermal insulation products.
PTU offers both PUR and PIR foam systems, with formulations selected to suit the required density, thermal performance, processing method and application requirements. Depending on the system and production scale, the chemical system may be processed by manual mixing or through high-output foam dispensing equipment.
Block production may use a floating lid to help achieve a more uniform block profile and reduce material wastage, or a fixed lid to produce a controlled over-packed block.
