Discontinuous panel

Product description

Our Rigid Polyurethane Foam Systems for Discontinuous Panels are specifically developed for the production of Structural Insulation Panels (SIPs) using the discontinuous manufacturing process. Panels with lengths of up to 6 metres are produced in hydraulically clamped press units, delivering high structural integrity and consistent insulation performance for demanding building applications.

In this process, surface facings such as steel sheets, cement boards, or similar substrates are positioned on the upper and lower press platens. The rigid polyurethane foam system is then injected into the cavity between the platens, where it expands and cures to form a strong, uniform bond with the facings. This results in panels with excellent dimensional stability, high compressive strength, and reliable long-term performance.

Ideal for cold storage facilities, clean rooms, and modular building systems, PU discontinuous panels support energy-efficient and sustainable construction. Formulated with zero ODP blowing agents and low Global Warming Potential, these systems help reduce energy consumption, enhance building durability, and support compliance with green building certifications such as LEED and EDGE, making them a future-ready solution for modern construction projects.
